Creating Delegate Access in Payment Gateways

We work with all Payment Gateways, but the most common we see among our clients are Stripe, Paypal, and WePay. These credentials are important for our developers to have in order to remove test payments, create payment integrations, and troubleshoot any problems that you may have with processing payments, and giving us delegate access is simple.

Stripe Delegate Access

  1. Log into your Stripe dashboard and navigate to Business Settings.
  2. Click Team.
  3. Select +New User at the top right of the window.
  4. Add the email address (support@getuwired.com), select the role you would like GetUWired to have, and click invite GetUWired to join your team on Stripe.
  5. Click Invite to send the invitation email. Once we receive this email, we will create a secure password.
  6. A note on roles: Stripe has very specific roles outlined – please make sure you have noted all the ways that GetUWired will be helping you. Sometimes, we will only need Developer Access. Other times, in addition to developing an integration, we will need access to Stripe Data in order to do monthly reporting. In that case, we will need Administrative privileges.

PayPal Delegate Access

  1. Login to your PayPal business account, and go to Account Access.
  2. In the Manage Users section, click Get Started or Update.
  3. Click Add User.
  4. Provide GetUWired’s information, using support@getuwired.com as the email address; click on the privileges we will need to support you, and click Save.

WePay Delegate Access

  1. Login to you WePay account and navigate to Settings.
  2. Click on Members, then add support@getuwired.com to the Add Member Email field and click invite. Once we receive the email, we will set up a secure password for our user. Once we no longer need user access, click the red trashcan next to our user in the member section and we will be removed.
