Team building events are a normal part of the GetUWired process. This year we were able to return for the 3rd time to our friends at Camp Wahsega where we spent the day together doing typical camp activities.
We began by selecting core values for the day which were Teamwork, Friendship, Strategy, and Fun. Then we split into groups and played some games and did activities focused on challenging our communication and teamwork skills. After lunch we had groups face their fears. One group did snake and spider handling and another took a trip on the camp zip line.
The day was a perfect blend of challenges, camaraderie, and swag featuring our new logo. Even dedicated computer nerds benefit from some time away from their screens, inboxes, databases, and code.
