We saw this article from Zapier’s blog about adding checkboxes to a Google Sheet and it got us thinking about checking off items in a tasklist and tasklist automation.
One of the most satisfying feelings is to have a good tasklist and getting to the end when all the items have been completed.
Have you ever created templated checklists and automated processes around when they get created?
If you’re working out of a Google Sheet or Doc you could populate tasklist content through a Zap but another option is using Google App Scripts. Setting up an app script takes some programming but once you have them built they save time and make sure you’re sticking to your best practice task lists.
If you’re using a project management system like Teamwork, Asana, Monday, or Trello there may be ways to have pre-made checklists inside the system or again Zaps may be the best bet for getting templates in place.
If your checklist game could use some improvement check out the book The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right by Atul Gawande or book a consultation call with us.
