Another part of the normal GetUWired process is hosting an internal Leadership Training Group. We’ve covered lots of topics in this group and currently we’re doing a book study on the book Lead it Like Lasso. Which uses the TV show Ted Lasso to demonstrate different leadership principles.
We’ve run this group for several years and do a mix of book studies, video reviews, open discussion, personality tests, and activities like SWOT analysis.
If your company doesn’t have any sort of leadership training this format might work perfectly for you. Our current schedule is meeting every other week. This gives us plenty of time to review the topic for discussion and collect our thoughts, questions, experiences, and observations on the topic.
